Release: Addictive Drug
02 Jul 2023The SPIRE Addictive Drug is a roleplay device that helps to solidify a D/s style dynamic by giving the addict (wearer/sub/slave) a crippling addiction to some drugs that only the dealer (Dom/Dome/Owner) can provide.
This product requires RLV to work.
Initial Setup
The setup of the SPIRE Addictive Drug is very easy and quick. The addict simply has to attach the pill bottle and the menu will open.
In this menu, there is only the option to Use a Pill. Pressing that button, the future addict has a choice as to what person they want to be addicted to.
By pressing the name of the desired person, they will get a prompt to either accept or deny the request. Touching accept will cause the wearer will take their first pill, making them addicted to the pills and depleting their stockpile at the same time. It’s on the dealer to supply them with more.
Addict Menu
The part of the addict is a pretty simple one.
- Take your pills to avoid withdrawal symptoms
- Be very nice to your dealer as they can easily make your life difficult.
- Be nice to anyone else that happens to have some of your precious pills.
At the top of the menu is your current RLV status (Should always say Yes)
The name of your dealer and the number of pills you still have left in your stockpile.
- Use a Pill: Use a pill in your stockpile to eliminate all your withdrawal symptoms. (Of course, this only works if you still have pills left
- Safeword: Allows the addict to free themselves from the effects of the drug.
- Status: Print out your current addiction status, the time until the start of the withdrawal or next symptom, and the list of currently active symptoms in chat. (For you only)
- Show/Hide: Show or hides the pill bottle in your hand.
Safeword and Hardcode mode
The drug comes with a safeword system, that allows the addict to free themselves without having to disable RLV or depending on the dealer.
The drug will be reset into the same state as it was at the start, with no dealers, no symptoms, and being able to detach the pill bottle. This will inform the dealer that the safeword was used.
I know that some people like to play without a safety net.
If you are one of those people, confirm the safety prompt and the Safeword button is gone from the main menu and will only appear once the dealer cures you again.
Owner Menu
The owner or dealer has the sole capability to manage and configure the drug to their liking.
At the top of the menu is the addict’s current RLV status (Should always say Yes)
Below is the amount of pills the addict has… split into two categories:
- Stockpile: Actual pills that reset the withdrawal cycle.
- Duds: Pills that do nothing and are only there to increase the number of pills the addict thinks they have
- Total: The two numbers combined. (This is the only number the addict can see)
The buttons below allow the dealer to configure how the drug works, change the stockpile the addict has or configure access for other people.
- Refill: Add or remove pills.
- Status: Print out your current addiction status, the time until the start of the withdrawal or next symptom, and the list of currently active symptoms in chat. (For you only)
- Symptoms: Enable or disable withdrawal symptoms.
- Timing: Manage the time for the time before and between symptoms.
- Cure: Free the addict from their addiction.
- Other People: Manage access to the addict for other people.
Refill Menu
The Refill menu allows the dealer (or other permitted people) to modify the stockpile of the addict.
Duds can be added or removed by anyone at will.
Stockpiles can be adjusted freely by the dealer, but other people can only give out pills from their own stash.
The dealer can toggle if the addict should be made aware of changes to their stockpile with the Visibility button.
Timing Menu
The Timing menu lets the dealer configure the timing of withdowal sympoms.
There are two times to configure:
- Initial Time: The time untill the first symptom triggers, essentially the time for which the addict is restriction free after taking a drug
- Symptom Time: How fast additional symptoms get added. That is the time beween each additional symptom, NOT the time until all symptoms are active.
With a configuration like in the image above the first symptom would happen after 1 hour, the second at 1.5 hours, the third one at 2 hours, etc.
The drug can work in Realtime or Online time depending on what the dealer desires.
Symptoms Menu
The symptoms menu allows the dealer to select what withdrawal symptoms should happen.
When do these happen and in what order is up to chance.
- ✓ Means the symptom is enabled.
- 🚫 Means the symptom is disabled.
- Numbers 1 to 8 describe the priority of the symptom. with 8 being the highest and 1 the lowest.
The withdrawal symptoms can all be enabled by the dealer.
Here is a list of all of them along with a short description.
